Ok, here goes…
It feels like Gears of War but with more swearing.
There isn’t enough variety with the guns on offer and the levelling up system means you rely more on your earlier guns than the ones you progressively open up.
The skill shots are cool for the first few times you score them, but soon become a chore.
The constant urgency from rushing through levels means you don’t really get a handle on where you are or what exactly you’re doing beyond chasing one checkpoint after another.
The sniper rifle is terrible.
Five minutes on the multiplayer Anarchy Mode reinforced my abject hatred of playing online.
I’m halfway through the third or fourth act and have no real idea of whether I’ve made much of any progress.
The word “dick” is way overused in dialogue.
The leash is a nice addition but there isn’t always anything to impale enemies against.
The charged shots cost more than the skillpoints you get from an extravagant kill.
