For the three of you out there that have yet to see this, this is the announcement trailer for the videogame, Dead Island.
The bit where it looks like the dad is handing his daughter over to the advancing horde? I… I can’t even.
As ridiculously well done as this is, and as much as this beats most of the crap that passes for film trailers theses days, I’m still not sure I want to play the game. I enjoy survival horror as a genre, and I offer Dead Space as evidence of this, but surely we can move past zombies. Surely.
