There are three songs I’ve been playing on an almost obsessive loop in recent days. Wolfram’s ‘Fireworks’ is the first of those songs. I may have mentioned it before that I don’t really listen to the lyrics in the songs I listen to. Barring a few very rare exceptions (pretty much just Cut Copy’s ‘Hearts On Fire’ and ‘Out There On The Ice’), the lyrics mean so little to my enjoyment of the song as to be utterly meaningless. This is one such song. “Fireworks. My heart is full of fire… for you.” Ugh. Thankfully the rest of the song makes up for such lyrical ‘treats’.
